Welcome to JP Photography!

My name is James Peachee' and I have created this site to tell you a little about myself, my love for photography, and what I have to offer.

I am retired from the United States Postal Service.  I am married to Karen and we have one son, Spencer, who will be starting at the University of Iowa this fall. I love sports, music and  Christmas lights (that’s an entirely different subject).  Hint:  Look up Candy Cane Corner on Facebook!

I have always looked upon the simplest of things that surround us in this world with utter amazement.  My personality never really found a way to express these emotions.  Then, about seven years ago, I found the perfect outlet…the wonderful world of digital photography!

Because our son chose to be in every activity imaginable, I took a lot of photographs.  Friends and acquaintances started requesting photo shoots, but I didn’t have the confidence to go “professional” so I gained some knowledge through studies and a lot more experience.  This past fall I started taking senior pictures as a test and the feedback was very positive.  Plus I loved working with the families.

So that brings us to what I have to offer.  If your family is like ours, saving money is important.  I am extremely reasonable and there are no complicated packages to comprehend.  We pick a date, a place (I have many ideas!) and you choose the outfit(s). (I do prefer outdoor shoots, including sporting events, within 30 miles of Davenport, IA.) We meet and have a blast taking pictures.  Afterwards, I will edit the photos and load a thumb drive provided by you, or purchased from me and you will have all rights to the photos.  And…I don’t require payment until you are satisfied with the photos!  (Discounts may even be available if you give me permission to use your picture(s) on my website gallery.)

This is truly my passion and I am doing it for the love and enjoyment of it.  If you think you might enjoy talking with me, or have any questions, I would love to hear from you!

James
